Immigration has introduced Drop Box Service for Maldivian passport applications. This is an essential service for those who has limited time since the applicant can use this service any time. Application submitted through Drop box will be processed following day and the Department of Immigration and Emigration will contact the applicant when the passport is processed. A Cheque crossed to Department of Immigration and Emigration should be attached to application form along with the necessary accessories.
Borderpol strengthens its international community with the recruitment of the Maldives department for immigration.
WBO - Borderpol welcomes its newest member, the Department of Immigration and Emigration of the Republic of the Maldives to the Borderpol Exploratory Committee (BEC). The Department is to be represented by Mr Hamid Fathuhulla, the Deputy Controller.
This brings to nine the number of members of the BEC, the others include Canada, Hungary, New Zealand, Norway, Peoples Republic of China, Republic of South Africa, Singapore, United Kingdom, United States of America.
