Department of Immigration and Emigration had conducted an information secession for the students of Jamaaludeen School. The secession was held on the 30th of January 2011 at the Jamaaludeen School. Twenty five students from grade nine from Jamaaludeen School took part in the secession. This secession was part of the academic programme on information to travel and tourism studies.
The objective of the secession was giving the students a brief view about Immigration Department and the role of Immigration in Maldives as a security and a facilitation body. Information secession such as this would be a useful tool as part of the Department of Immigration and Emigration public reach out plan.
The training was lectured by Senior Immigration officers Mohamed Shifan and Immigration officer Ibrahim Saeed from the Department of Immigration and Emigration.
