Fourth regional office of Immigration established at Dhidhdhoo

Controller General Mohamed Ahmed Hussain and Member of the Parliament for Dhidhdhoo Constituency Abdulla Waheed, inaugurated the fourth regional Immigration office in Ha. Dhidhdhoo on Tuesday.

In the special ceremony held at Ha. Atoll Council to inaugurate the Dhidhdhoo Immigration Office, Controller General issued the first ever passport from the office.

This office will initially facilitate the passport services only. However, addressing in the inauguration ceremony, Controller General said that the services will be expanded in a short period of time.

“Ha. Dhidhdhoo Immigration Office will initially facilitate passport service only. However, other services will also be commenced in a short period of time”, Controller General Mohamed Ahmed Hussain.

The establishment of Dhidhdhoo Immigration Office is also a pledge of the President of Maldives, His Excellency Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, during his visit to Dhidhdhoo on March.
