More visa, seaport and administrative services via IMUGA

To offer greater convenience and flexibility to customers, Maldives Immigration is prepared to provide more services via the digital platform of the organization, IMUGA, starting from 15th November 2020.

As such, business entities and individuals can submit letters or other documents to Maldives Immigration via IMUGA. However, the drop-box at the Head Office is also an option for the customers to submit documents. Additionally, digitalized services include, sign-on and sign-off, to and from vessels, and crew transfer. Hence, during the process, customer will be notified about the proceedings of the applications through the online portal.

Moreover, the upgrade of the visa services will make the process easier. Hence, customers can apply for all types of visas; including Business Visa, Special Visa, Marriage Visa, Student Visa, Dependent Visa and even for Sponsorship Declaration via IMUGA. However, work visa services will still be provided through the Xpat Online System.

With the upgrade in the visa process, applications submitted via email ([email protected]) from 11th November 2020 will not be processed.
